Honestly, I've really done so little this week. Ended up staying awake all night on monday night, so I could be awake to go to my ethics lecture on Tuesday. Went to the lecture, then went home and slept til 6.30pm. Then went to circus society, taught poi for two hours, went to the park for a burn with a bunch of people then came home. Ended up watching movies with nick and brad again. Slept about 6am. Woke up at half 3. Do you see a pattern emerging here? Got a letter from my landlord threatening eviction. Got a red phone bill. Need to go cash a cheque at the pub later so I can get back to Lanson tomorrow. Hope the student loan hurries up, or by the time it gets here it'll be too late to stop the slide into the black hole of debt.

There, that was cheery wasn't it?

BTW, Hi Kelly, welcome to my diary. wave

Seeing as I have to go the pub tonight in order to get money, I'll probably play guitar for a drink. Always a laugh. No idea what I'll play though.

Take it easy.

Thursday 21st October

I didn't play in the pub after all. Ran around and sorted some green out for people, then went to Flip's house for a couple of J's. Got home about midnightish and rang Mojo for a chat. Didn't go well. I may be seeing her this weekend. Not sure yet.

Feeling a bit down after that, I rang Sian up north and nattered to her for a bit. Felt a bit more cheery.

Nick was going to bed early so I borrowed a dvd off him and lay in bed watching. It was "Touching The Void", a documentary/reconstruction about two British climbers near-disastrous trip to the Andes in the mid '80's. It was excellent. Very very good indeed.

Not sure what time i went to sleep, probably about 7ish. I kept dozing, then looking at the clock and seeing it creep later and later. I'd planned to be up at 9 to go to my seminar, but eventually I just didn't wake up.

Got up around 1. My mind is playing tricks on me again, all I can think about is the situation with Mo and I feel empty inside, like there's a piece missing. Had a shower and packed my bag for the weekend. Had some breakfast and watched the free episode of "The Office" that came with the cornflakes. Even that made me think of Mo, just cos she hates it. Then, around ten to 3 I wandered to the station and boarded the train for Bodmin, where Tamsyn and the girls picked me up and drove me to Lanson.

Fed the kids, (Tamsyn left while they were eating), and bathed them and put them to bed. They're still awake now, I can hear them talking. Every now and again Izzy comes downstairs and has a cry about something. She's been very tearful lately, bursting out weeping at the slightest provocation. I'm here til Sunday afternoon now. Mojo finishes work in about an hour, and I desperately want to hear her voice, but I'm not sure whether I should call her or not. Maybe I'll wait for her to call me.

Love. Mug's game innit?

Ah well. Lucky I brought my guitar with me, I can keep practising Elliot Smith songs. And other cheery material. smile

Learn to win.

Friday 22nd October

Ok, so last night I pretty much did nothing. Played around on the net for a bit, then watched Newsnight, This Week and went to bed. Read for a bit, currently reading this. Then slept.

Woke up at 8, got the kids dressed, fed, made Izzy's lunch and walked her to school. Then came back and spent the day lounging around with Rheanna. Picked Iz up again at half 3, the rain was hammering it down, (as it still is) and I got soaked. The girls were ok though as they have coats with hoods, and I don't. Gave them dinner and put Rhe in bed, Izzy's just watching PowerPuff Girls and then she's going up herself. One of her teeth fell out just now, amidst much wailing and crying due to the blood that came with it. She seems ok now though, although I've had to put the tooth under my pillow as she's scared of the tooth fairy coming into her room while she's asleep. biggrin

Looks like another lonely night for me. I really want to go get some green, but I can't leave the house without a babysitter, and I don't have one, so i guess I'll just have to cope without.

Happy weekend all.

Saturday 23rd October

Woke up at 9am and fed the girls. Went back to bed and dozed for a bit. Got up properly about half ten and started preparing for Mo to come over. Tidying the house, shaving me face, etc. She rang about 1pm to say she wasn't gonna come. Not two weeks ago she was telling me on the phone how much she wished she was with me (in Falmouth) and how much she missed me. Now we have an opportunity (increasingly rare these days) to see each other, and she doesn't want to. Her reason is that she says I've been "pressuring" her to come and see me. I thought (based on what she had said previously) that she missed me, wanted to see me etc, and so I'd been ringing her to sort out when we were gonna meet up. Not like I'd been ringing her every minute of the day, only once or twice last week. She says she will come up and see me for a bit tomorrow, before I go back to Falmouth. I feel like I should just try and forget about her, but i also know that there exists inside her the person who tells me she loves me repeatedly on the phone, and tells me how much she wishes she could be cuddling me, and I worry that if I turn my back on her I may miss that person resurfacing. I really do love her to bits you see, and would do most anything to try and remain an important part of her life, but slowly my mind is ripping me in two, and it's got to end soon. One way or another.

Will post again later when I'm less emotional. Am sitting here in a fog of confusion, sadness, grief, anger, frustration, and trying to work out a way through it all with the least amount of effort.

Now it's time to decorate some more flower pots with the kids. It's raining cats and dogs still, and despite a trip into town to briefly do some shopping, they're both pretty hyper. Just what I need. frown

Maybe if it was sunny life would be better. shrug

Who knows.

The rest of Saturday passed in much the same way as it started. Played a bit of backgammon on Zone.com, got as far as the final round twice, and lost in the final twice. Ah well. Good game though. Taz came over about 12ish and we watched Battle Royale 2. Tis pretty good, if you can suspend your disbelief a really long way. biggrin

Crashed about 4am.

Sunday 24th October.

Woke up late, about midday. Iz was shouting that Rhe had a nosebleed. On further investigation it was discovered that she didn't really, she just had red play-do up her nose. Didn't stop her screaming like she'd been shot though.

Spoke to Mojo. She's gonna come up and spend a bit of time with us before Tamsyn returns and drives me back to Bodmin. Wish I could have had some time alone with her, but I guess I overestimate my importance to her. Am trying to tidy up the house at the same time as kepe the kids from killing each other, and it's not going well. I just left the tap on in the kitchen and now I've washed the floor too. wink

Love you all.

Mags don't you worry about the many ladies out there who are also perfect for you and yet will actually invest time in you? Dude, it sounds like you're back in the cycle from earlier this year, maybe you should grow and show interest in someone else to catch her attention...sorry that's harsh but it certainly got her interst roused in the summer shrug

Did you manage to pay your rent? You said you're getting eveiction letters, have they ceased? I hope so!

Oh and to sound like a Dad, get your arse into Uni you stoner slacker!! You'll fail if you keep up your current attendance levels, even you know that, and you're far to good to end up failing cuz you couldn't get your arse into lectures. Still, at least you've attended this one wink
