Then Brad juggled, and i poi'd in the very confined space of my bedroom and in a moment of Tool-inspired epiphany, I somehow started to understand exactly what Oli does to make his loops so loopy! You wrap the buggers together, then isolate like crazy! Could be wrong, but it worked a few times. Will practice more later. Could ask Oli, but i'm gonna try and work it out myself.
Then went to bed and read for a bit. Since i finished reading One Hundred Years of Solitude, while I was at Mojo's on monday, (incidentally, if you haven't read it, do!) I borrowed a book called The Dante Club from her mum, Bev. Read the first chapter before sleep hit me. Looks good. The guy (the author) has already turned Purgatory into a verb: "he was purgatoried to the waiting room".
Love it.

Didn't mean to bring anyone down, just thought I'd mention it.
The guy's well into his magic, sleight-of-hand, that kind of thing. Was a good laugh. Then, returned home, watched bits of the Jet Li flick (they're better when I watch them with Mo - even though having just spoken to her on the phone, I knew she was at her house watching it too
) and went to bed.
That'd be fun.

Hava turned up, as did Josh, and we all had a big burny sesh. Brad brought a stereo, so I walked home to get CD's. We listened to: Radiohead - Hail to the Thief, Tool - Aenima, Q.O.T.S.A. - Songs for the Deaf, Sublime, Muse - Absolution, and the wonderful Gish by the Smashing Pumpkins.
