well, when I was starting out, I really didn't like to be around the more talented spinners, since it made me look that much worse. I never had a problem with the better spinners. I always respected their talent and usually said something.

now that I've become one of the people that most look at as "talented" (i think I still got a ways to go) I get the same thing. I've seen people stop spinning altogether for the rest of the night after I started spinning around them. I asked one, and he said he felt like I was trying to show him up, and he couldn't compete. I felt horrible. of course I haven't come up with a solution, I dont think I should not spin in a club to make others feel better, but I do try to tone down the performance.

Well i dont know whast the problem... i dont try to show me off or nothing i just like dancing with the music...
Next time i will ask them why they run:p if they give me a silly asnwer like that one that im just trying to show off and stuff i will tell them i could show them how to do it we are all there to do what we like we could even be friends tho... jesus...
some of them have asked me how to do stuff and he is cool with me and im cool with him notihng bad dunno why all we cant be like it?

Dudei dont think you should stop dancing or spinning at clubs whatever you do ;p just cause they feel you are better.... that kinda selfish of them i mean you cant spin at clubs just cause youa re more talented... pls!!!! that is like i cant go clubs to dance just cause im more talented than others dancing???? or i cant play soccer cause im more talented than others pls thats silly

I haven't. I never will. I thought I said that in the post, maybe I just didn't make it to clear. I tend to do that.

I'm pretty cack when it comes to spinning, I dont mind spinning round better spinners. christ if that was the case I'd never spin in public!

and as an american, i must ask you to tell me what the heck cack means....

I don't mind spinning with better spinners. i know i suck, and they usually have something to teach me. however, i get very nervous when i see a group of people better than me poi-ing, and i usually haev to be cajoled into stepping out to join them. Usually once or twice of, "want to give these a try?" is enough though.
