NERVOUS!

I'm going home to visit the folks tomorrow, after work.

This will be the first time I've seen them since I met my new girlfriend. ubblove

This is the first girlfriend I've had in 4 years!!! After my last relationship of 5 years ended, I essentially had to come out to Mom all over again, and came out to Dad for the first time. (He knew, I just hadn't told him.)

Now...the folks are very cute about my sexuality these days. Dad and Mom giggle every time they tell me the story of Dad stumbling upon the Gay Pride Parade in San Francisco with his friend. They had no idea the Parade was going on...and he loves telling that story.

So...they are trying to relate, and it's really cute.

BUT I'm still nervous. How do I go about telling them I have a new girlfriend. I mean, they know Mand visited me last month, and they know I'll be visiting her in the coming months, but I've not TOLD them...

Oh, this should be an interesting trip. I don't even know how to bring it up!!

confused

eep.

To be honest, I don't really follow professional basket ball. I prefer college hoops.

Living in Houston, I suppose I *should* be a rockets fan...but the AStros are here too, and I'm a yankee fan. *shrug*

yeah...

Every now and then, I get txt's in spanish...which I don't speak....I've asked my hispanic co-workers and they tell me it's spam. Annoying, that....because I get charged for txts. Blah.

Though, I've strongly considered blocking txt msgs....I don't get many, and the one person I'm most interested in getting txts from can't seem to get through to my phone. darn it.
