And the day after...

So far things are quiet, though I was told that I should wait a few weeks before making any big requests. Hmmm.

Ah well. What comes will come, and I'm cool with that.

On the up side, I was mentioned within a Global Satisfaction survey, which is huge. I'm the only analyst from this group to have gotten mentioned.

It's not a survey for analysts, but an overall survey for the support center, which means the person went out of their way. Coooooool. It's a plus mark for me, I think. biggrin

Life Rolllllllsssss on, and I meet it with a huge smile on my face. biggrin

oh..yah...sorry. Wasn't very clear there...

My previous post was a work related thing. They do Global Satisfaction surveys, which are sent out to all of our clients around the world....and we ask them for feedback (we, meaning the company...not me necessarily).

Apparently, one of our clients said I was a shjning example of a committed analyst who will do everythign I can to start and finish a job to the best of my ability. The comment came from someone at one of our pickier client sites too. Wow.

It's an ego boost. I may not like corporate america, but it pays the bills for now....and compliments like that go a long way to make this place a bit more bearable....

especially when part of our company's going through layoffs.

I was always scared with my mother's obsession with the good scissors. It made me wonder if there were evil scissors lurking in the house somewhere.

Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons for you are crunchy and good with ketchup.

I am DAFT. DAFT I tell you.

I put water on to boil for raman noodles.

I then forgot I put water on to boil.

I remembered as I was talking to a friend on the phone...FORTUNATELY, it didn't boil all the way down....but there was less than half a cm of water left...

Of course...I very nearly forgot to eat dinner anyway.
