Great for beginners
"I recently purchased the ball head rope dart and I love it. So far it is a great beginner tool. The quality is great and it was very affordable which is good if you are unsure how much you will actually use something. The length was perfect and I am having a blast. The ball still hurts when it smacks you but that is just motivation to get better!"

Loving my new toys
"I was so excited to get these. They came in in the amount of time I expected. The weight is good for me, as I am recovering from injury and heavy things are too difficult to interact with. Pretty easy to twirl, once you get used to it. My only wish is that the staff part were thinner. I have tiny hands and it would be easier to deal with a thinner staff section, an I believe it would allow me more control. Obviously cannot use conventional twirling batons with a thinner staff to do isolation techniques, as they always make one end heavier to help twirlers gain momentum because it is less about control with regular twirling batons. Overall very happy, but in the future would prefer to find a thinner metal section."

Amazing but... Still Amazing!

A good prop, but could use instructions
"It took me a few minutes (and some searching for videos) to figure out a few things: 1) You have to screw in the end segments to get them to stay on in fast spins. 2) Take off the end caps to change the batteries. 3) You can press the button on the light unit through the rubber cap; you don't have to take it off. The prop itself is solid, flexible, and very grippy. It's nice and light, so I'm less worried about hitting myself in the face than I would be with a metal pole. The lights are bright (although of course they're not really visible in full daylight). There are a variety of color modes; I haven't tried creating a custom mode. The AAA batteries are rechargeable, but don't come with a charger. They're labeled 1.2V, but standard 1.5V alkalines seem to work fine. One of the light units gave out in less than a week after many drops in practice, but Home of Poi replaced it free of charge."
