it is with great sadness but much excitement that i tell the world that i am leaving te POOka in a short while. I will be touring europe this summer until the start of August with the lovelies FNF and elasta as a pook, and then no more.
lots of reasons.

so; here are some plans and movements, and potential plans, etcetc....
5th May
leave edinburgh; drive to sheffield and pick up the fluffy one
and move her southwards away from the grim north celebrate birthdayness (not mine)
11th-16th(ish) May-
Streets of brighton
with Orkestra del sol before going to play at the wedding of the guy who runs lost vagueness in devon somewhere...16th(ish) for a week
go to brissole for a weeks rehearsal for the ubershow that me, ros and laura are going to perform through the summer...
last week may:
relative bothering in wales
first couple weeks june
last bits of prep for summer tour
17th june(i think)
go to summer solstice festival somewhere near glastonbury
(i'll find a link) to perform the new show for the first timewhich conveniently finishes the day before
PLAY
we love you dunc + co.
then its a bit hazy for a week or so, before heading over sometime in the june/july crossover to go to Germany and Austria to perform and teach at

and anywhere that will accept a van full of hippies performing a shithot fireshow.
then we get to august, and it all goes a bit uncertain. I've got lots of ideas for things to do... the one that is making me smile most of all at the moment(totally subject to change) is to go to the festival del sole in tuscany, hook up with PK and family, then find somewhere in Italy to hang out for a while and get a job teaching circus in schools, performing for pennies, etcetc... til the next time i feel the need to go a-running away
but there are loads of other equally cool options for things to do around then.. including coming back and working on a big project with the pooks, but just as a performer with no overall responsibility
and a short term contract or anything in between (including running away to australia again, or possibly india if the fluff stamps her foot )so... there you have it. well, some of it.

I dunno how you hippies do it.
That kind of lifestyle would drive me nuts.
But I'm honestly thankful because I'd never have the fun if you kids weren't creating all sorts of joy and happiness wherever you go.
Thanks for inviting me up to Pooksville years ago. My life has certainly improved since.
