Yep it's a good job I didn't come up actually, I've slept so much this weekend, trying to get rid of my cold before my blood test tomorrow.

I had my blood test this morning: I was a brave soldier! yay!
Just the smear test on Wednesday and then woohoo, no more prodding and poking for a while (hopefully!)

Jo babe, explain to me exactly how much work having a dog involves. I'm still thinking about getting a rescue dog to come live with me so I don't think people are breaking into the house at night.

thanks guys! Skully, it all depends on the dog- if it's a puppy it's going to be a real pain in the arse, pooing everywhere, chewing up your mobile phone and the remote control for the telly! (bad molly!)
when they're older (2ish) they're more chilled out, and really not much bother,
Also the type of breed makes a big difference too. A greyhound is going to need a lot more exercise than a chihuahua!
Mostly though, as long as a dog has breakfast, dinner, lots of cuddles, and walks they'll be happy.
If you tire them out in the morning with a long walk/playing fetch, they'll be too knackered and sleep for most of the day.
I think that dogs are worth the effort with all the love they give back.
