Hi, I'm brand spanking new to HOP, never even new it existed until I stumbled upon it recently. Only just starting to get my sea legs as far as the technology thing goes. Just typed poi into a search engine and BAM, Here I am. And right glad I am too. Been spinning for years on and off, started in South Africa and the enthusiasm kinda waned once I got to the UK and refused to leave the warmth of indoors for months. Years later I am regaining my passion and learnig to accept that 26 degrees celcius is warm.
Think Hop is amazing, looking forward to learning and living and loving and growing.

on that note... when our school was being sued, some kids at my school were quoted in the newspaper, from stuff they'd posted on myspazz..

Thats all fair and well, however as far as facebook goes...surely with the setting where only people you have accepted as friends can see your profile is good enough?? People who arn't on my friendslist can only see a small version of my picture and thats about it. I'm aware of the advertising stuff...or is there stuff I don't know???

any info you enter can be sold to third parties including e-mail addresses (which is 1 of the reasons it is mandatory on sign up) when asked what if people don't want their personal info sold to large companies to get profiling for advertising by BBC journalist the student bloke who invented it just said "it's an advertising supported site"

we saw tink and sunbird last week they is funny. dom and his 2 cousins are learning to be annoying teenagers already they'll give marie and tink a run for their money when they're older. A couple of balls short of a full cascade... or maybe a few cards short of a deck... we'll see how this all fans out.

*yawn*, Got back from London late last night. Not ready for real life again. Saw Beowulf at the iMAx in 3D. OMG!!
AMAZING!!! I kept forgetting that the things flying at my head wern't going to hit me, but it was uber cool. The sun is shining today

that sounds wicked
I'm having a crap week, massive international financial failure imminent due to get this 1 peice of welding. a crane collapsed on a ship down here and it's making my life difficult 
people just don't think of me when they cause these incidents

no worries I have an uncanny ability to be able to completely forget work about 5 minutes before I leave
in some cases it's half an hour Let me know if you wan to come to SL this year and if you want to come for free for a session on the gate I think we'll have a few more volunteers this year so hopefully less work for everyone *waves arm in circle*
oh and when you next go to S.A please bring the sunshine back.. it's a bit warmer thant he stuff we're getting at the moment

Will do, but I don't think I'll be going back to SA this year, maybe next year.I'll defenitly come along to Southern lights, but I think I'd rather pay for a ticket and only help out a bit instead of actually work.Plus I'm trying to get the boyfriend and a few friends to come along, and it won't happen if I'm going to be working lots and unable to hang around with them.

Well the aim is to get some of them to come to even just one fire festival, which is proving to be a bit of a mission...it seems Brighton is so amazing that no one wants to leave it unless they have to (can't blame them for feeling that way though). So am trying my best really, but will let you know closer to the time.

So...new developments are...I'm DEFENITLY moving to London. I'm going to hold off till December so that I can completely pay off my loans before I move and so that I get to spend one more summer in Brighton.
I have also booked myself and Ben on a mini-adventure holiday!
We are going to The west midlands safari park, alton towers, Waterworld, Aerial Extreme at Trentham and then the heights of Abraham in the last week of April..I'm well excited! I even got us a four poster room for the first night of our holiday 
I can't wait!!!!

I dunno,probably before to be honest,but not sure. Ben says he's ready when I am...I'm just not ready to leave brighton yet,which is the only reson I don't live there yet!
