They originally cost less than 1! Euro in Asia and are not supposed to be used as Poi . . . but if you never hit yourself or the Poi or the ground or anything else they work really nice wink

PS: Shouldnt be in the Poi-Moves Section - move it to Social Discussions and talk about bad practices and rip-offs in the Poi market . . .

Rip off gits! Did you email them and tell them off or notify eBay perhaps? I did that to someone selling the LEDglosticks from here in exactly the same way, they even ripped off the HoP picture!! I asked them very nicely to take them down or put a realistic auction together or I'd alert eBay of their dodgy practices, 2 hours later the auction was gone!

Praise the power of email

I saw them too.. did you look further down to see the ones that looked a little like bacteria? they looked like they were made from tubes of rubber weaved together in a kinda sorta monkey knot..

I wanna make some like that!

But in fairness (if that's the right word to use) - there's nothing actually wrong with putting them up for sale at that price.

The bit that's wrong is "The RRP REALLY is £50" which is a lie.

Without that sentance, they can quite legally put them up for that price. People don't have to bid for them... Heck, go buy a load and sell them for £10 a pair, start a price war smile

ok I emailed this dude about proving his £50 RRP claim, he says I've questioned his integrity and got very aggressive and emailed me his phone number. As he was very VERY confrontational by email I, amazingly, didn't phone him. He says he bought them in the US and "his friends" say they're worth £45-£50 so I may be sending an email to eBay today. I asked him to just give me the name of the manufacturer as he must remember the shop/have a receipt/they come in a labelled bag etc but he has refused anymore contact by email.

So do I tell eBay about it?

Yes, tell ebay.

My friends tell me my computer is worth thousands. If i wanted to tell it and claim that, i'd have to be prepared to *prove* that.

Btw.. His two later acutions with the same thing do *not* claim RRP £50 https://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?V...ssPageName=WDVW
although he hasn't edited the first auction.

Of course i bought a set of the "crappy" LED poi and guess how until they smacked together? c'mon....guess. it was several minutes. that's right folks. i paid $25 US plus S/H and they broke the very first time. they broke real good too. not the repairable kinda broke. the kinda broke where little fragments go shooting across the room and you find them 2 weeks later when you're walking around bare-foot and step on this sharp plastic shard and then you yell: "Curse you E-bay. Curse you all to hell for not warning me that these LED's are made of a egg-shell-like plastic". phew. i feel much better after that rant. sorry folks
