Hi, I'm new here "obviously" wink

I got some poi for my birthday in may so i could take them to Glastonbury festival....lovely they are SonicSuperStars

Can only do the butterfly and the weave so far, i'm pretty much a beginner but really enjoying it.

Well, I'm 25 and from Buxton, Derbyshire UK.
I have a 4 year old daughter called Merryn star, she has her own set of poi smile
I love festivals especially Glastonbury, this year was my 6th and my daughters 3rd.
I like Art, music and my new found love for poi smile

Hello welcome

Weaves are definately a good place to start, thats where I started, five beat weaves are awsome and going through two, three, four beats is the best way to achieve it so if you already know one of them you're already half way there.

Glasto was fantastic as usual, i didn't really spin much though which was a shame but definatly next year, i should know a few more moves by then too smile
