I got some poi for my birthday in may so i could take them to Glastonbury festival....lovely they are SonicSuperStars
Can only do the butterfly and the weave so far, i'm pretty much a beginner but really enjoying it.

I have a 4 year old daughter called Merryn star, she has her own set of poi
I love festivals especially Glastonbury, this year was my 6th and my daughters 3rd.
I like Art, music and my new found love for poi

hello starlystar weave and butterflys a good start my first moves were the windmill and corkscrew and heres a round of applause for the youngest poi artist ive heard of yet Merryn Star

We we're at Glasto too! Did you enjoy it? I reckon the atmosphere gets better and better every year. I hope I manage to get tickets next year!
Did you spin much while you were there? We span lots but were to spangled to spin fire much

Weaves are definately a good place to start, thats where I started, five beat weaves are awsome and going through two, three, four beats is the best way to achieve it so if you already know one of them you're already half way there.

Glasto was fantastic as usual, i didn't really spin much though which was a shame but definatly next year, i should know a few more moves by then too

I had a poi spinning session in the park today, even though i can only do 2 moves it was quite nice seeing people watching and enjoying it
