Hey, I'm Hannah, aka Hanz.
Well, I'm new, lol.
I found this site and msg board after searching for info on how to make my own poi, and came across this site and saw it was really good and then saw the board and decided to join, so here I am.
I first saw fire twirling at a Venturer Camp in December last year, and one of my friends is a twirler, so whenever we go camping I borrow her poi and have a go.
I prefer Poi to staff coz I find it easier... only ever lit Poi once, usually I just use electro-poi, coz I am still getting over my pyrophobia
I am still to make/buy my first set of Poi... but I'll get there.
Anyway, thats a little about me and twirling... if ya wanna know anything else just ask and I shall tell.... anyway, see ya's around

It's good to hear that your not pushing yourself by doing fire when your not ready. If you do a search you are bound to find a heap of results on how to make your own poi.

Well I try to say I dont like it, as Pink is the 'girly color' and I try not to be girly, so I tend to say I dont like it... however, some shades of pink I dont like, like Fluro Pink, 'tis bad, however, there is purply-pink, which is nice.... so my views on pink is that there are some nice pinks, but I tend to say I dont like them coz of how people class it.

Mr Majestik: The only Vent I know from Tassie is Ilsanya, but I only know her because of HoP, hopefully after the Australian Venture I will know more Tassie vents though.
