Hey

My name's Kat

I'm 21 and from a lovely city of Edinburgh (possibly the best city in Scotland)

I'm currently a student doing a health care course that would take far too much explaining and you'd still not understand what it was when I'd finished.

I did fire swinging for a couple of years (but very basic unskilled stuff) with a youth project I helped run when I was about 16 however after reading all the fire safety and stuff we probably shouldn't have been allowed anywhere near it! biggrin

Haven't done any for a while with being at uni but saw some chains on sale on ebay and remembered how much fun I'd had with it in the past, did a google search and well... here I am. With a long summer ahead of me I guessed now was a good time as any to start again.

Unfortunately at the moment I'm the biggest fire hazard you could meet so I don't think I'll be using fire until things are sorted and I'm less of a hazard.

Anything else anyone wants to know feel free to pry though I may decide not to answer if you're too personal! smile

My summer officially has started.... biggrin

Yay for Rugby!

Well in the end our seats were wedged between a load of Irish fans so i decided to cheer for Scotland. Was a good match, very cold though, we lost but much fun was had all round. Have made plans to go to the Scotland V England next year, bets have been put on already ubbrollsmile

Hahaha! I went home from a friend's in Gorgie and had completely forgotten about the match, so suddenly the bus was taken over by tons of boys in Ireland shirts. One of them had the funnies ring-tone I ever heard on his mobile (I HATE mobiles, so me finding the ring-tone funny is saying something), it went "Danny, your phone is ringing. Danny! you have to answer your phone" in quite a seductive voice wink

Have a happy Valentine's day as well, Kat, I'm feeling crap, too, and that's even without people rubbing it in that much... hug

Did you're bus get stopped by all the people blocking the road? We decided to walk back to town but it was so funny seeing the looks on faces of people in buses and cars because they couldn't go anywhere because from Murrayfeild to Princes Street there were people covering the road.

No, it was fine... took a bit longer because lots of people crossed the road without looking and the bus driver luckily was a nice one, but I think I was just in time. Plus I had a day-saver and a book with me, and it was really really cold, so I would've just stayed in the bus anyways smile

But I remember how funny it was walking home from the Chili Peppers concert in Murrayfield and stopping the traffic, too... the people in the taxis were especially pissed off biggrin

ah, hello Mr Birgit. I have yet to actually meet you but I've heard you're lovely.

And just to update this thread while I'm here:

Instead of taking another evil nasty year out of doom from uni, I'm resitting second year but not taking any assignments other than the one I have to redo. YAY!

no, no, no, no, no... You can't have your birthday party tomorrow. Tomorrow night I'm having a quiet night in with wine, films, and a mate I've not seen for over a year!

Ah [censored] it, they can wait until another night.

I can only wonder at the minute as the copper tubing and person who lets me make the wooden dowels in their workshop are down home. Which means I can't start until Wednesday night when I get back home. And then I only have wednesday evening, thursday evening and saturday evening (when I'll probably still be hungover) to make them.

And rememeber I've been trying to make the last pair for her since before Christmas. Though I've bigger insentive this time. i mean, it'd be unfair to give her ones that have already been burnt, wouldn't it?

they weren't cruelly disfigured, they were lovingly disfigured, much love and time and effort went in to the disfigurement and mutilation. What can I say, I get bored and creative easily...

Was lovely to see you again at Play. I think you were right about the sun killing us through our noses (it's the only bit of me that's really red). Still in total awe of your flaming bike balancing and multiple poi spinning biggrin hug
