Hi. I'm new! Been looking at this site for a while so figured I should actually join and be able to participate...woooo!....taking part!!!
I'm from Leicester but don't hold it against me, are there ANY other fire twirlers (just poi for me so far) in the whole frikkin city! I need new tricks!
If there is we should definatly start a meet or something through the summer. Plus is anyone going to reading this year? Be good to get some fire burning there as well!

The easiest way to find people in your area is to use the meet others section of the community drop down.
Oh, and like Lightning's recent post said, please do tell us more about yourself...favorite things to do besides poi, favorite colors, anything that intrigues you, etc...We are a nosey crowd after all.

Our Pink is very important....very fine at spotting fast moving guides in crowds and extra good at hugs

Well I'm 18.
I'm a gap year so still think of myself as a student but get none of the pros.
I live in Leicester.
About 4 weeks ago I got back from a 6 month round the world trip so am currently in a deep depression as the boredom of full time work sets in.
I work as a receptionist for a paper printing company, but only for 12 weeks ( I'm temping-less hassle) Then this summer I'm just generally gonnna bum around and work part time in a bar, summer is too precious to waste in an office.
I learned poi in Thailand on Haad Rin beach, the spinners there are awesome!
I just played football in my garden with my brother and won 3-1.
Someone just hit me on the head with a frying pan.
No not really, that was just an excuse to use the icon.
I do kind of like pink and purple but RED is my favourte colour

I wish I did work for David Brent. then my job might actually be amusing in places seeing as I dont give a rats ass about paper, it's not. Except when i skive off and go to home of poi! today was health and safety check day (oh!The JOY!
