I was always scared with my mother's obsession with the good scissors. It made me wonder if there were evil scissors lurking in the house somewhere.

thank you darlings. i feel so completely exhausted. i'm not even sure how things ended up like this. it just suddenly was.

my supervisor told me yesterday he doesn't think i want to be here and it's showing with my clients. as much as i hated being lectured, he was right. i need to regroup fast or i'm going to keep drowning. frown

for the most part. it'll be a fun weekend, and not too rowdy. i'm going to a club this friday to see some djs spin and get some glowstick spinning fun in wink and then saturday i'm having people over for a crepe party (we're making lots of crepes and watching movies). and then sunday afternoon some friends are coming over to watch Schindler's List (we wanted a tearjerker movie party) and then sunday night (weather permitting) i'll be practicing poi down at the park followed by a poetry slam. so kinda busy, but most all of it is pretty chill smile

have you checked the directory yet? there's loads of people in Oz i'm sure you can spin with.

ya i was stoked to find a group out here that practices every sunday. but some of em are kinda snobby, that's the downside. oh well. i still have fun with my little group smile

I've had a half hearted look through the directory, but i live a far way away from most of the other spinners. Might have a look at the group that spins on a friday night, however. Its still an hour there and back, though...

I'm currently saving up to buy some from here. I know its shocking, having to save up to buy $60 AUD of stuff, but when you're only earning $320 a fortnight, and losing $100 of that before you see it, and still have to buy food, and pay bills etc, it can get a trifle nasty. I did, however, make some out of rope. They're lighter than my mates' fire set without heads on them, but oh well. better than skipping rope is. And you can have some more fun afterwards, because they're only put together using knots. which means they can come undone easily. crappy rope though...

hrms. crazy idea. fire poi, using about a dozen pairs of handcuffs, all linked together. that would be interesting, both during, and after the spin....

i am good. tired. finally working things out with my best friend, but it's still all blah. i currently have a wonderful boyfriend and a sexy woman propositioning me for sex, and neither of them care about the other! ubblol the best of both worlds! ubblol but seriously, i'm doing quite well. i got a bit upset this weekend at disrespectful people in my house, but it blew over quite quickly and all is well.

Me and an ex boyfriend used to do the exact same thing a few years back!
I was quite shocked at some of the people (male and female) he said he would like in bed with us. It was very funny though- especially seeing people the next day who's names were mentioned!
