So searching for contact jugglers, (sphere minipulation) just started myself about half a year ago and am now completly completly hooked, hav'nt really picked up much poi and staff in the past two months on account of the cursed ball. What an amazing dicipline.
So who are the hop heads out there who also roll balls? We've all seen glass in his parisian adventure. Being doing CJ for long glass? But who else out there is into it. Well let me know,
Mot.

Actually, I've been trying to learn contact juggling for longer than I have poi, but I must admit that I'm not particularly good with the sphere compared to nearly anyone else I've seen (luckily my poi skills avanced much more rapidly). Still, I can't resist using the cue ball to do a couple basic tricks before starting a pool game.

I'm a showoff only for you, my dear Cass.

(well, I suppose that is totally untrue, but I can't resist a chance at being cheesy when you are involved)

Now back to your regularly scheaduled thread....

The skills go dormant quick when you don't use them. Need 4 hands.

the sad side of this is that i have to trainn with a weighted tennis ball, but on the other hand, when i walk to my work , (at 5:30 am ) you can see me doing butterfies and such.

very nice beginning of my day

It does count capitan. and remember, it never looks as cool to you as it does to everyone else. When people ask "how do you do that?" I like to tell them it's magnetic, the ball is only painted clear.

lol! nice...

i use a ball skeeball that i happened to get my hands on.. yaknow.. those white heavy plastic balls you use for throwing down the isle and landing in one of the 6 or 7 holes... its a game.. at the arcade anyway... i use one of those.. although i suck..

Ladies and gentlemen, this is not a trick, this is a stunt. The difference between a stunt and a trick is that a trick is something that tricks or fools the audience, a stunt is something that only an idiot would do -Ivan, Ash Circle, 10/04/03

oh, lucky me, i didnt watch Big Brother at all, I saw my friend from UK doing CJ but at that stage knew nothing 'bout it. Anyway, it was wonderful- he was showing us all these tricks, and another man was playing guitar in a specific french- galloping way

...then i did a quick search on that topic, found all that contactjuggling org.'s and com.'s and now i'm waiting for a lacross ball from Rich Shumaker's brilliant legacy project...
