We are all in the cosmic movie. That means the day you die you watch your whole life repeating for eternity. So you'd better have some good things happen in there and have a fitting climax. --Jim MorrisonIt's going to come from a direction you didn't predict at a moment of chaos which you didn't see coming. -- NYC

I used to play unihockey too, Gruff

and I went on huge offroad unicycle downhill death missions ;-) I occassionally still do when I'm in wellington, that place has great hills. I have a bad habit of walking the streets in the middle of the night and getting harrassed by police patrols who think I'm some kind of damsel-in-distress needing to be saved. If I lived in a bigger/more interesting city maybe this would count as 'crazy' ;-) I study philosophy......now that's definitely crazy. I take public transport when I don't need to go anywhere, just for the ride. I often crack all the bones in my body and get bitchslapped by my friends for creeping them out. I write songs, play guitar, cook fantastic vego food, sew my own clothes. and i spend a lot of time in my hammock, staring at the blue blue blue sky.x

the memories fire, the rhythm falls slow....

Posted:Well I can't say that I have played unihockey, but I have often been Muni cycling (mtbiking on a unicycle).Angie, you will have a real problem with skydiving.....it is just too addictive!! So muc of a rush the first few times and then there is sooo much challenge learning all sorts of new things!! Xeada I used to wander the streets in the middle of the night too...but I often did it on the unicycle...people see you at 3 or 4 in the morning and just totally bug out...probably thinking they are dreaming...Other than that...well what do you class as extreme sport?? I mountainbike (a lot!!), I whitewater kayak, ice climbing, rock climbing, juggle fire clubs, snowboard, mountain running, do endurance adventure racing, skydive etc...anything that involves adreniline...well count me in!!!!

Posted:I climb rocks and trees, make primitive armor and weapons, spit fire, climb in caves, throw knives, shoot guns, walk in the woods/mountains at night, (sometimes with no flashlight), with bears, wolves, mountain lions, panthers, poisonouse snakes, ticks(blood sucking arachnids), and deadly spiders, did I miss anything? oh yea sometimes there are non native animals like lions and tigers that excape from zoos and like to roam around down here too. The highest concentration of Black Bear in Oklahoma is where my parents live right now in south eastern Oklahoma(where I grew up)... They also started releasing endangered species into the wild to help their numbers...things like pigmie rattle snakes, and certain scorpions. I got charged (mouth open, fangs extended)by a water moccasin (poisonous snake, can be very agresive) and luckilly I had a 22 revolver, I shot him just before he swam close enough to bite me, I knew I would only get one shot...what a rush. very close call. I was realy far out in the hills and would have been in big trouble (read DEAD). Oh yea, I almost forgot to mention all the crazy hill folk that live down there (close to the arkansas border). growing up around them can be an adventureouse sport....ducking bullets from AK-47s....two seperate non-related occations...

we eat and we drink and we smoke and we try!

Posted:heeeey Angie you posted the topic, cool! im really desperate to get into some extreme sports as im really into adrenlaline rushes.by the sounds of it Fire Princess, you've got the right idea.im going down to Cornwall or maybe Devon to do some surfing for my birthday. i really want to learn before i go to oz as i want to surf when i go traveling. Tell you what is a good adrenaline rush thats a good hardcore mosh pit, you do get pretty bruised but crowd surfing is the best, my fav time was to the red hot chilli peppers.id also like to try rock climbing, absailing, down hill mountain bicking(only trouble is you have to get to the top) and so much other stuff. ellie.------------------little miss firefly, burning bright, lights your way all through the night.

you can take the cat out of the jungle, but you cant take the jungle out of the cat

I'll buy a new one when I finish my Ph.D. and start getting paid a real salary.Working on my dissertation is making me certifiably crazy. Does that count?I also used to crew on a racing yacht. That tends to be either totally nuts or completely boring.I surf, but that is really only crazy when I go to Hawaii for the winter or during a hurricane (yee-haw!).I go to Burningman and Burning Flipside (the local Texas burn - finest regional burn there is) and spend much of the year and much of my money getting ready for them. I go completely crazy when I'm there. Some people would call playing Dungeons and Dragon and building scale models crazy, especially if they saw the level of detail I put into both. (ok, I'm a geek, so sue me)I like to drive my car really fast. She'll go faster than 140 mph, but I don't know how much faster because that is where the speedometer stops.I tend date more than one women at the same time and am totally up front about it with all of them. Now THAT is crazy! (expensive too)
