"These are really the true second place to fire poi. Some people even like them more than fire due to their changing colors long spin time and saftey. I should note that they are rather light at least compared to monkey fists. These poi have been promoted for their soft construction. While it is true they aren't as hard as Kevlar Poi they are NOT soft. In fact you can hurt yourself quite nicely with them especially if you hit yourself in the face. Because of their lightness its very easy to spin them very fast. This makes up for their lightness and you can certainly injure yourself with them (I speak from experience.) Overall wonderful poi for the dry season parties before and after fire shows..."

"LUUUUV These! Ok i got the starter set with the soft poi to get myself going and also these for when i felt more confident. I love colors so i went with the muli colors instead of one color my family thinks they're cool and i used them on the 4th at a party for the first time and got rave reviews. These really add fun to any party or event very durable the only thing i would change is adding a jump ring onto the molded ring on the ball to make them easier to change out on your all ready existing lines but other than that i love these and would recommend to everyone!"

Not too hard but hard enough to make you remember not to do that again! My 10 year old son was able to spin these nicely and when he did rack himself it wasn't too horiible. He laughed it off and went back to spinning. My 12 year old daughter was also quite good with these. She said they were not too heavy but she prefers the ball chains to the nylon cords so off to get another cord :-) Thank you HOP for this wonderful product!"

"I really enjoy my rainbow poi. I was a little unsure at first on whether I should get just a solid color or go for the rainbow and I am really pleased with my decision. They go through a full range of the spectrum and the whole ball glows such a nice color. They're beautiful and look awesome in the dark. Awesome buy!! The only downside is they aren't very forgiving to learn with."
