"absolutely wonderful! after several days use one thread came loose near the opening to remove/add the ball but that was easily fixed and i have yet to have any more problems with it! absolutely wonderful for learning! I'm just getting started with poi and this was the first set of poi i bought. they are an absolute pleasure to work with."

Excellent Practice Poi
"These are fantastic Poi for mucking about with and getting to grips with some trickier moves. I used led solid plastic poi before and burst my lip by smacking myself in the face! You can add anything to them of any weight and size and really play around with different ideas. My only criticism is that they could be of a slightly softer material. LOVE THEM! "I have to say - the toy is a unique prop. Interesting int he effects it can create I am very excited to light it up. It slides so easily - it just glides along. My only hesitation is the length of the wire. I was hoping it would be approximately shoulder width apart for some nice bellydancing hand formations - but its much longer for me. "They're the perfect weight and the fluff is fun to swing but the metal attaching parts hurt if you hit yourself with them. However very fun good grip. All in all a great way to practice though! Will be buying again!"

"These are great poi. They look good and can pack up nice and tight so i can carry them everywhere. The only minor annoyance is with the adjusting of the lengths which can be a bit fiddly and also makes them harder to untangle."

"i was amazed how easily isolations can be done with those.. i practiced with my socks until i got those man thats a diffrence! these are my favorites to play from all the pois i have.. only downside: they have a different movement when doing throw tricks than my plain socks. id prefer my socks cause they keep on spinning in midair while those cones fly like a ball. oh well thats not what they focused on when making this thing now were they so no hard feelings."

"My first reaction: WOW! The LEDs glow wunderfully bright and look absolutely cool when spinned! The socks it took me a while to find a blacklight work perfectly (even when they're a bit dirty) Only downside is that the LEDs are hard enough to damage my glasses so I have to take them off when I try something new. If your spinning alone in a dark room they look brilliant but I went out with a bunch of spinners once with these and they're barely notecable in comparison with anything else... "I really like that you can vary the weight you add so easily -I used rice in bags in the end of my cone poi. They fly nicely and I find them easier to use than ordinary sock poi when trying hyperlinks and air wraps- the cone shape seems to help a lot with this. The handles make it easy to transfer into one hand allowing more freedom than straightforward sock poi and I just love the purpleness of them too :-) The only way that I would change these is to incorporate a small swivel into them somewhere to help with the unwinding....maybe near the stitching on the handles. I know there is another version of these with a swivel but I'd like to see the softness and flexibility these have with this kind of handle (no d-links and metal bits and a single loop soft handle). Another cool new poi toy. Thanks HOP"

My Fire Fans
"I've had my fire fans for about three months and I am completely satisfied with my purchase. The metal smaller spinning hole is a little rough on the fingers after spinning awhile but if it was padded or something else i don't think it would spin as well..something you have to sacrifice. The weight of them are also pretty good. They may seem heavy at first if you don't really use the muscles in your arms because you actually have to do all the lifting. The wicks are also a good size and distance from the holding spot. It can get a little hot if your not constantly moving... but that's fire for you. Overall i love my fans and glad i purchased them from HOP. I looked at many other sites to see options on price and style and hop's fans were by far the best choice for me. I can incorporate staff and poi moves easily with these fans and they are TONS better than collapsible fans so much variety with moves. ThAnKs HOP :)"
