I freeze mine as well, actually the staff i use to twirl with (i always tape 3 glowsticks to each end, never do fire, cant do it inside usally, and leaves waaaay better tracers in my op...

My mom was a state level competitor in baton twirling, and it was like a huge sport for girls in the 50-60's. I must of got a dorment gene from her or something.No idea where it orignat...
