Posted: Hey. I am new here. Can someone tell me the difference between a glow poi and a led poi. It’s a bit confusing cos they both suppose to glow in the dark? Do the glow balls also have any light source inside? Thank you?

Posted: Glow Poi uses a material/chemical that charges up under a light source. Then it will slowly release that light to make it appear to glow in a creamy color. No battery required. Glows only for 3-5 minutes after charging under bright light. But can also glow while UV/Blacklight is present.
An LED (light-emitting diode) needs a battery to make light. LED's are available in many colors. Full-color LEDs can also change color and do strobes etc. Battery lasts 3-20 hours. Can be turned on and off.
