Hey, I'm relatively new to these forums and I want to know. How do I mark all read so I don't respond to old posts?

welcome Whizard...

There's a few options, one is to look at active topics, so you knwo they are fresh, or if searching for posts, and you find it worth answering, just do so on an old post.

Chances are pretty high someone else will want to know what you said, but haven't asked for while.

If you scroll right down to the bottom of the page, there's a link that says "Mark all posts read" (or maybe just "Mark all read")
