Birthday (sign?): 03-Nov-1980 (Scorpio)

Age: 29

Sex: Male

Occupation(s): Venue Host and genteral entertainments at Butlins Skegness

Favorite Food(s): anything Thai

Favorite Color(s): Black and Read (most of my circus kit is co-ordinated in these colors)

Favorite Movie(s): So many this could take forever but i'll stick to saying StarWars, Lord Of The Rings, Matrix, Ghost In The Shell etc.

Plans for life in general: (i.e. what you want to do when you grow up) Well I'm 29 now and have no plans to grow up any time soon but if it does happen then something within the entertainment industry would be ideal.

Favorite Music Artists/Composers: I like a lot of different styles so I'll just list a few to give you the gist of what I listen to. Rock, Metal (Not Death or Thrash as I like to understand lyrics thank you), Grunge, Indie, Punk, SKA, Celtic (That last one may seem a bit different but check out Drop Kick Murphys, Flogging Molly and Runrig to see why)

Do you think these pants make my butt look too big? YES!

Favorie ice cream flavor(s): Nutella. How can ayone think that Marmite would be a good Ice cream flavour :Bleugh: and Vegemite is just marmite's poor cousin Haha.

There I hope that intro covers everything (and steps on a few toes too hehe.)

As a side not I just want to say that I started Juggling/Spinning back in 2002 at Southampton Institute Circus Society (It will never be Solent University to me) and I know a lot my friends used to belong to this site. If any are still here it would good to try and reconnect with them again.

Have fun guys and KEEP SPINNING! smile

HAHA! My thoughts on Marmite exactly!

Where do I find "Ascilith's popcorn" and does it come covered in Nutella?

I was offering you the popcorn just grab a handful. It's seasoned with stuff to make you see colours, but it can be covered in Nutella smile

Ok I just read Ascilith's Thread and get it now. Haha Looks like much lulz. A couple of years ago I'd have jumped at seasoned popcorn. Now I can't even have Herbal popcorn as it would mean loosing my job instantly. frown

I'll take some un-seasoned and flavour it myself though smile

Not sure 'bout that but I love my work here too much that I am not going to risk it for a little thrill.

I get paid to walk among the Guests doing what ever tricks I fancy, teaching little kids the basics (letting mum and dad have some down time on their holiday) dressing up like and idiot and dancing like one too.

It hardly feels like work most of the time. Also the prospects from here are too good to turn down. They will pay for any NVQ I want (within reason that is) and Red Coats are crying out for me to join them next season which will allow me to get back on stage performing again.

Ok I think I might be acting a little to grown up at the minute (Damm when did that happen) but I have spent too many years working with no prospects and living on a day to day basis so now I have something to look forward to in the future I am psyched.

Looking forward to many Lulz and maybe a bit of help from this forum (not mentaly, even a pychiarist couldn't help me there crazy )

On a Tricks basis I am wanting to get better at my Pendulums, could you point me in the right direction for some help with them please.

You are redeemed, even though Marmite is better.

Avoid the squirrels, and welcome.

@Willworkforfoodjnr - I don't know what you class as a kid but 29 (soon to be 30) is older than most of the peeps I work with and so I feel that I am surrounded by kids all day long. Also I thought it was marmite that killed the tastebuds in the first place, surely you cannot savour any complex flavours after years of abusing your body that way. Nutella gives you a hit of sweet but leaves your pallet intact, obviously the choice of champions.

@Aston - Runrig are incredible. I only got introduced to them about a month ago but have now amased quite a collection. The drum solo for "Beat The Drum" on the year of the flood DVD is pure awesomness. Don't try converting me to marmite, I did give it ago a few years ago and after I stoped the world seemed to come back in to focus plus the squirrels seemed to be less agitated when I was around. I'm guessing they were unable to sense any evil inside me and decided to leave me alone (more fool them wheee!)

Nonono.... You see, nutella attracts them, since it contains nuts.

There are enough nuts on the forums that we do not need nutella eaters adding to the squirrel atraction.

Then why was I left alone when switching to nutella? huh answer that one!

fair point about nuts attracting them but that goes with the territory of being a spinner and the small amount of nuts mixed with the overpowering chocolatyness is not going to add to their already insatiable apetite. Plus marmite is just pure evil in a jar and when you eat it you become closer to being dammed and that will enrage all sorts of woodland beasts not just the squirrels although they are definatley the most bitey.

Well I'd rather have them "attracted" to me, at least then I could train them to be my army of minions and attack all marmite eaters in the viscinity. laugh3
