Posted: Hi Dean...
Lots of the professional fire performers on here get asked regularly to do charity work, and while I'm sure we'd all love to support every charity that asks, we just can't.
Most groups will choose one or two charities to support, and then have to charge the rest.
So... you are much more likely to get a positive response from a professional poi artist if you offer proper payment (I'm sure there must be some money available, if you are bringing in international DJs). You'll also get a much better show.
Alternatively, you can try your luck with the amateurs, and I'm sure someone will be along sometime to offer.
best wishes Clare (firepoise.com)
