Nevermind, they are also the South African colours. Except ours are green and yellow.

What is fairy floss?

Missing out. It's coloured sugar thats put into a heated machine and air is forced into it to make this fluffy sugary goodness on a stick. Melts in your mouth. very very nice.

Yeah.... Candy floss is what I call it.

Dammit. Now I need to go find some. Which is highly unlikely to be a successful search right now. :anger: :rage: tongue2

Bridge meets are monthly at the moment- the second Friday of each month, so next one is on the 10th of July. There's an Adelaide fire spinning facebook page here . Kicks off around 9, wraps about 12 (ish), beginnerish people most welcome and there's usually a few people lurking around more than happy to help out with learning moves/ offer advice yes smile

Like MNS said... there's CG too- [Old link] is awesome, heaps of fun and full of lovely spinny people. Definitely not to be missed if you have/ can get that weekend free.

Oh, and ello wave

haha Hi!

ooh how exciting! I'll check it out, 10th July that's almost here already, this years gone too quick!
Haha beginner'ish? not complete novice? lol, I'll have learnt by then, have 5 days off, mini holiday woop!

Very keen to hit CG, have a few mates might be interested too. I'll see if I can work some magic with my roster.
Is it really possibly the last chance to get there this year?! only just hearing about it beginning this year, sad to lose it before I even see it.

Thanks for all the info!

Oops, thats not at all what I meant- will have to be more careful about indiscriminately adding 'ish' to the ends of words wink. Sorry about that. Beginners of all varieties/ levels are most welcome, as well as musos/ drummers and really anyone friendly smile.

So maybe see you down there? regardless of whether or not you've achieved jedi-like mastery of the basics of staff by then! juggle wink grin

'ish is a lovely term though, especially when your clock is always making u run late for things!

Have a confession to make, stopped with the staff... moved to poi there are rainbow ones, so to justify buying them had to start learning. much fun though!

Should be there this friday! hopefully the dang flu's moved on by then!!
happy spinning otherwise!

I still want to do staff I love the way it looks! I do Poje!
It's just very hard, and coordination seems to be part of learning it, which is silly.
I haven't completely gone over to the dark side, there's still interest in there.
