I really want to try poi!
I'm going to buy some soon ><;
I was attempting it with glowsticks yesterday and kept hitting myself!
I don't know if I'll ever be able to do something like this ^^;

You need something heavier than glowsticks. Try tennis balls inside socks, they work.

Once you get used to that, get something even heavier.
3/4 cup of rice or beans in socks works well.
