helz bellz: cheers. the festival itself was awesome, but i think i would of prefered it if my routines had been a tad more polished. but that leaves room for improvement next year smile.

i wore my festival gear a bit, but i was too stressed about impending shows to properly rotate through my wardrobe frown. i want to get to the stage where the costume for my club routine doesn't feel like a costume but a way of life. might have to start wearing it when i go food shopping.

when is the welsh invasion? i think i shall be going, unless it's the weekend that we're currently experiencing, in which case i probably won't. i'm sure i'll see you soon though, you coming to bristol juggling convention?

it was two packets, and it was done very calmly and methodically.

And yes, you are so very wrong, if you'd driven over my staffs I'd have probably just cried and crumpled to the floor in a little heap muttering things about how my precious toys were smashed to pieces, rather than splice your head on to confectionary. you make me out to be some sort of monster and you've taken the quote completely out of context.

Everyone will be thinking i'm evil now... and I'm not... see *smiles sweetly*

i think i might be going to circus school in a couple of weeks.

went for a nine hour interview at circomedia (bristol-based circus school) on tuesday, and they've just sent me a letter offering me a place on their one year course.

it would meaning leaving southampton for a year, which would mean less time working on pyroflow frown, but it would hopefully make me a better performer, therefore improving pyroflow in the long run smile.

it's mostly about physical theatre, movement and performance, so i think i'd have to start coming up with serious routines that didn't involve beds of nails, tiger balm, wheelbarrows or bicycles. i'll have to set them to classical music, use dramatic lighting, move around a lot pretending to look confused and/or surprised, and wear that michael moschen-esque thong i've always wanted to wear (yay).

the required clothing list says the minimum requirements are as follows:

Written by: circomedia rule book

tight fitting tights/leggings (2 pairs), t shirts, a leotard, track suit (or similar) and one set of black clothing for presentation classes. it is important that your clothes are clean and simple. loud patterns and slogans are distracting and are not acceptable.

i don't have any tight clothing (or any clean clothing for that matter), and i'm not sure i'll look good in tights, nevermind a leotard. gosh. whatever shall i do?

and i met rod and he's very cool. he told me he's working on keeping eight ping-pong balls in the air using his mouth. that's insane. is that a world record then? most impressive.

oh, and yes to lunch, though perhaps not everyday tongue.

maus: can you make tights! wow. though i think just painting them on would be more fun.

skully: i don't think you've ever accused me of being talented - but then you haven't kept one of our appointments yet smile.

Yep - that's the guy. Funny, would have thought he had that nailed years ago. I've only seen him do it once. It was a world record when he was teaching me at school.
