Does anyone know where i can buy firewater from in Perth?
I know you can get it sent from juggle art in mel but i need it ASAP
Does anyone in Perth have any i can buy from them?

Perth doesn't have "firewater" but if you tell us what type of fluid you're after we can help... (the local companies use Recosol G for their burns... ask us about it!

Sorry, Durbs... I did an MSDS search
and can confidently report that Recosol G is not quite the same as d60. It is the equivalent of Isopar G, which is the name we buy it under from our wholesaler in Brisbane. It is what is resold as Firewater/Firesol bu Auusie juggling shops. (It equates to what was previouly known as KSolT , S11 and various other names... it is confusing how these things change name from time to time...) The flashpoint of Recosol/Isopar G is around 40° and it is very odourless. (Therefore one needs to be MOST careful about labelling bottles). d60 has a flashpoint around 60-70°, is slightly smokier and has a slight (sweetish) odour- not disgusting like kero, but definitely detectable.
Recosol/Isopar G also burns slightly brighter and hotter... people who do contact/ have big wicks on doubles comment on that when they go from d60 to Isopar G.
So if newbyspinnerpert returns here to check... go with the Recosol, it's good

You can't buy "Firewater" in the UK - ShellSol seems to be the closest thing.

Well there's a business for someone then! Buy some 200litre drums of Shellshol, stick it in 5litre containers with a pretty label and double the price. That's what the well smart Aussie juggle shops have done.
Then someone little home spinners can bust your system by learning to read MSDSs, figure out what refineries are producing that is the best available fuel at the time, and smile nicely at the wholesalespeople so they will sell it to you over the counter in easy to carry 20litre drums with cute black and white taps. (Thanks, guys!) I got a bit of a scare when our lovely wholesaler got taken over by another company, in case they started asking sticky questions about company accounts etc, but so far so good
btw Shellsol flashpoint's is 40ish. It's just fine for spinning. A 2006 MSDS describes it as'aromatic' but it's not stinky.

THe lowest flashpoint fuel I know of commonly used is the Colemans/white gas a lot of US spinners use..
The flashpoint of that is (quoted from the MSDS:
FLASH POINT: <0ºF <-18ºC Tag Closed Cup
it is volatile, meaning:
FIRE AND EXPLOSIVE HAZARDS
Can form flammable mixtures with air and flash at room temperature. Explosion hazard in fire situation. Vapor heavier than air and may travel considerable distance to a source of ignition and flash back.
To balance that large risk, burns clean on wicks I'm told.
The lowest flashpoint fuel I have known Aussie spinners to use is Shellite, with an even lower flashpoint to Colemans (quoted as -30C) Almost no one uses it more than once, though I have known people to make a mix with kero and shellite. Yech.

Here is some general info about flash points. To find out this isn't hard- Any chemical you buy has what is called an MSDS (material safety data sheet) that lists many properties of the material, including the flash point. Usually you can google them.
