I started spinning, hmmm, two years ago I guess. Spinning with fire for one year.

Was welcomed into a troupe quite quickly www.firenmotion.com (website is getting reworked with spiffy animations.. very excited)

Being in the troupe is great, mostly because it holds my best friends, my med school buddies and my partner. hug

I got bored of only doing poi pretty fast, and decided to make my own firechucks. With no firetoy making experience, I think it went pretty well!!

I went to the Perth Annual Fire-Camp, SpunOut, and will hopefully also be at 2UberOz.

Between a choice of becoming a fulltime fire performer and a trauma surgeon, I know which one would be more enjoyable, but my heart strings are tugged with a sence of responsibility to use the skills that I have... So don't be confused when a series of firespinners start appearing from poverty stricken areas of Africa in the future... biggrin
