Posted:Well it is impossible to do any of the nunchuck wrist wrap moves that I know continuously, as they change your hand possition from holding it with the fire below your hand, to holding it with the fire above your hand. You can however, wrap it from holding with the fire below your hand (first position) to having the fire above you hand (second position), then do a different wrap back to holding it in first position.

Posted:Learn them with a staff first, I would.(or broom handle, y'know same thing) The key thing to remember is to have it wrap your wrist inside your thumb as well as just your palm.

I'm just making a crappy lil youtube vid to illustrate (replete with drop biggrin )So I'll post that up when I'm done.

EDIT: Here it is clicky

EDIT THE 2ND: If you got to http://www.firestaff-tutorials.co.uk and then Contact moves > Hand wraps > Hand wrap tutorial, the second half of the video will demonstrate what I'm on about a little better than I have smile

Posted:Sorry i'm much more knowledgeable now. If you hold the nunchuck in inverted grip, and wrap it over the back of your hand so when you catch it, it is still inverted you can continuesly do that. I'm almost there too.

I'm now figuring out how to do 2 or 3 wraps without catching it inbetween - can do it about 20% of the time....

Posted:yeah, I can do them now, but nowhere *near* that speed :o

I'm gonna have to keep practising that one...

I can now do double wrist spins fairly consistantly (twice without catching in middle) but over that gets a but unreliable...

Posted:I dunno if it's there but there's like a wack of lessons on domorepoi for "chuckers" now.

There's a set of bizarre chucks lying somewhere around the house here.. made of foam awesome to play with but everytime you hit yourself or enough motion comes into play the make all these noises like some kung fu cartoon. "Hiiiiiiiiya ya ya ya yahiiiiiiiiiiiya" Pretty funny... Annnnyways back on topic now.
