So I'm struggling to find a place with a twin/double room for less than 50 without it being well far away like Upton.

Posted:You are in luck. I know of some cheap hotels in Victoria (Zone one) for about 40-50 quid a night. Almost cheaper than getting a cab home to zone 3.

Wilton Road you can see on http://www.streetmap.co.uk/newmap.srf?x=...mapp=newmap.srf

Posted:I'm a native of London, used to work nearby and used the cheap hotels occasionally rolleyes Can't remember off the top of my head what the names of them are, but if you look up "cheap Wilton road hotels" in google I'm sure you'll be able to find something.

Failing that try vauxhall bridge road.

Good luck
