Just how much chocolate eating is there at this event?
I know a few non spinners who might be up for the day out but I think they'd need plenty of choclaty action to persuade them.

last year there was a choccy bicky as you came in, and lots of cake at the end, but the chocolate consumption between those times was pretty much down to how much you took with you yourself.
so to sum up, not as much chocolate involved as you may be led to believe.
plenty of juggling slash spinning though, and a show!

but the amount you spend making the cake is more than you discount on the ticket price. but you do get to enter your cake in the cakey competition... i've no idea what you won for winning that though! pride maybe. maybe not.

anyone got any ideas on who'll be doing a piece in the show? there was some cracking stuff last year

** CHOCFEST UPDATE **

We're pleased and very excited to announce that Sean Blue will be
Chocfest's extra-special guest and that he will be headlining the show. I
had the privilege to see some of Sean's ball spinning and juggling skills
over new year and they completely blew me away.

Supporting Sean in the show will be:

- The Yorkie Bar Kids
- Guille and friend presenting "'The Club's Kings'"
- Dave Kelly (mad 3 ball stuff)
- Dave Barnes (diabolo)
- Matthew Byng-Maddick (devilstick)
- Tom Johnson (contact)
- Dan (beautiful ball juggling)
- You?? (get in touch, or find us on the day!)

Oooh.. Matthew BM has a show, huh? nice...

Saw Tom last year in the show... It looked as though he ran off stage early... hopefully he would have fixed that this year...

Would like some better descriptions of who people are, really... That list written as it is doesn't excite me a whole lot, TBH...

Yorkie Bar Kids -

I expect they are the kids who did a show last year? Remember that Charlie lad?

Well, they weren't brilliant jugglers but they did a semi-amusing show, chasing someone around on a unicycle to some Benny hill music or something and a random load of other stuff... Can't remember much for some reason.

Dave Barnes - Liverpudlian diaboloer. Not sure about his act, but he's very good technical diabolo.

Dave Kelly - the name sounds familiar, don't know who he is though. Sounds like possibly some arty-european 3 ball madness combined with technical stuff.

Matthew BM - Well, we all know he's a good devil-sticker, no doubt. I remember last May at Brum Circus Convention he had learnt a little control over 2 devilsticks, let's see how much he has improved by now!

Yeah, there was a definate lack of that at Leeds too. It's because he doesn't use any music and nobody wants to break the scilence. Maybe everyone should just get drunk and lairy and chear him on biggrin

Trouble is with contact, jugglers don't *really* understand when to clap, or they're too hypnotised to think: That was done well, I shall applaud it...

Can't sod the woman. (She won't let me.) And I'm trying to persuade her to drive.

Talking with Claudio, and some of the Leeds Uni Juggling lot last night, there may be a few of us turning up.

Yayy for beer transfers!
I'll also be bringing my "delitefull" new toys, Claudio too probably.
