Just wondering what the reasoning behind your votes are. I voted for self simply because without looking after ones self all the other values in the poll are sacrificed.

My friends are the most important thing in my life. They are my support structure, they are there for me when I'm happy and also when I'm sad and in need of a hug. They are the people I turn to in times of need, the ones to dig you out of a hole when you most need it, and to say "Hi" just because.

I come from a family that is willing to give me money to buy things with, but they don't offer love or support (at least not that I've ever been on the receiving end of).

So, without my friends, I would have a really lonely existence, and what's the point of having a happy self if you can't enjoy it with someone?

I would have to agre with you Astar. If you don't know and love who you are as self than you can't find love for the rest.

i said that friends are most important to me.
this is because i'm just starting to really come out of a long period of depression which seems to be mostly based on lack of any sense of self worth. i spent a long time with out my health and without much ability to help myself. which is the worst feeling in the world.
i know that i could never have done it without my friends helping me. because even if i lost sight of who i am, they never did. it felt so awful to be largely dependant upon other people, but without their support i would certainly not be here right now.
so yeah. that's my reasoning.

No flowingchalice. You asked the HoP world in general "what the f*ck" a C@ntus was.

Doesn't do my ego any good to have some Chalice come lately descend on the boards, ignore/fail to notice all my posts and ask what i am.

Zamoreghia, as MisStix said, Fluffy Napalm Fairy is my girlfriend.

You can find her Intro in the Introductions section.

And she started the Either/or thread.
I know you've seen that one cos you posted in it. That was the one where you ignored posts from Kinudin and myself to post that you preferred Escher.

Flid, are you serious?
She's definitely my drug. I'm completely addicted to her and I need to get a fix every waking moment if that counts?

Ooh that's from Alice's Adventures in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll

The Mad Hatter asks it of Alice. Unfortunately it is never answered within the book

However, In another book called The Annotated Alice by Martin Gardner there are 3 solutions offered.

The first is from Lewis Carroll:

quote:
"Because it can produce a few notes, tho they are very flat; and it is nevar put with the wrong end in front!"
(he deliberately misspelled never so that it is raven spelled backwards).

The second and third solutions are from guy called Sam Loyd:
quote:
Because the notes for which they are noted are not noted for being musical notes
He's trying to be funny I think - such a shame he failed

quote:
Because Poe wrote on both; bills and tales are among their characteristics; because they both stand on their legs. conceal their steels, and ought to be made to shut up
Which is all very clever but I feel you've lost interest now. So I'll stop whittering.

Bet you wish you'd never asked now.

You should put it in the fridge before it melts any more.
