Well, anybody really but seeing as i'm kinda organising it, I didn't want a load of ppl to turn up and think I'm really arse at poi! lol
I mainly just want to make some friends who do this sort of thing that live in my area cos I've just finished college so I'm not gonna be seeing many ppl anymore. I need new friends.

Lordy.
You go to meets to learn poi, which inevitibly means hitting yourself at some point/cocking it up/looking silly for a bit, but everybody does that! even the most skilled spinners.
And nobody will think you're really arse at poi, because everybody had to be at a beginner level of things at one point in time.
I don't think there has ever been a level specialised meet, besides paid for lessons...
The great thing about a large group of spinners is the diversity. Everybody is at different levels.
Nobody is snobby or pretentious, and 99% will be willing to teach you!
If you are an 'intermediate' and spin with other 'intermediate's you're not going to learn much I would think...

Seriously, whether you're the organiser of a meet or not, it does nay matter about ability!! You don't have to be a spinner at all to organise a meet!
I'm looking forward to meeting more people locally!

Hmm... good point Aimee. Well it's settled then. After Play (wish I was going!) we will decide on a place and time and all meet up. No idea where we can go in Gosport, I thought about that place next to town, the field next to the lake, but I don't know... It's a bit public... Any ideas?

Where was everybody last night?! My bf and I got there at about 7, walked up n down the grass and the beach n couldn't find anyone! So in future,
1. We will get there on time.
2. Everyone will meet right infront of the Rescue Centre.
That way we can all find eachother. Also, add 'Squeeker' thats my bf. You can spot us easily cos I will be carrying my blue devilstick. Look forward to next Tuesday! xx

alright...
we are now going to alter the meets a little, due to the boy racers, and all teh crap people that are hanging around,
we are goin to move the meet to down my the cafe/yatch club house.
This is easy to find, walk up from the rescue house, past the beach huts, and you will find the cafe, if you reach the paddling pool.stop!
we are also going to start making the meeting kick off from about 8, as thats better for me, spanner, and FD.

I knew Gosport was on the South coast near Portmouth as a friend went to uni there and was thinking it maybe with within travelling distance of Brighton.

Hey everyone, what happened? me n my hunny went down at 8 o clock n made ourselves look pretty obvious (glo poi etc) but Still couldn't find anyone. Once you lot get down there, whereabouts do you tend to stay? the beach? the grass? whereabouts??
