Hi all... I am a complete newbie to poi, fire twirling and anything/everything related. In fact, I'll only even see it in real life for the 1st time next Friday (making it down to the Moon Fest on north side of Brissie).
Anyway, this is me...
Name: Pat... but Pogo to those that know me well.
Location: Logan City, south of Brisbane, QLD, Oz.
Hometown: As above.
DOB: 17/09/1969
Age: 36 and counting...
Sex: Wouldn't that be nice?
Occupation(s): Computer Programmer. Worked for myself from home for 2 1/2 years, but have recently had to get a "real" job.
Favorite Food(s): Hmmm... pretty much anything, really.
Favorite Color(s): Green
Toys: Acoustic guitar, Classical guitar, 3 electric guitars, 2 djembes.
Hobbies other than the obvious: Music, Reading, Keeping fit (hmmm, not so much of the keeping fit, actually)
Education: Did Bachelor of Science majoring in Computer Science and Pure Maths. Then Grad Dip Appl Computing... then started a research masters, but gave it away when life got in the way.
Favorite Book(s): Have to get back to you on that one... The Anarchist was the last book I read, quite liked it.
Favorite Movie(s): Lots... Fight Club, Snatch, Lock Stock..., Finding Nemo, Pulp Fiction, Pay It Forward...
Favorite TV show(s): Don't watch tv.
Plans for life in general: (i.e. what you want to do when you grow up) I really... wish... I knew.
Favorite Music Artists/Composers: Lately... Xavier Rudd, Jack Johnson, JBT, Blue King Brown, Donavon Frankeneiter, Rob Sawyer, The Waifs... blues/roots stuff.
Favorie ice cream flavor(s): Vanilla.
Marmite, Vegemite, or Nutella? (please choose one...this is important as it is essentially this site's equivalent of stating your religion...we have religious wars, crusades, cathedrals to Nutella, all that.)

Oh, don't get me wrong. I loves bubbles!!! We blow bubbles in circle lots of times, too. The Life Science Museum in Durham has a whole section dedicated to bubbles, You can stand on this little platform and pull a chain above you and encase yourself in a big bubble tube!!! Too cool!
I'm just one of these strange beings who happen to like to analyze anything and everything. Dreams are one of the major things that I try to understand. I don't believe that anything in our dreams are random. Everything means something.

So how did those dreams go pat!! With all that "bouncing" around you i reckon you would have spent a great deal of time just trying to get to sleep. *giggle* Mmmm.... bouncing!!!

They'll probably come back on you when you least expect it.
That's what mine tend to do!
Can be rather annoying.
Try 'programming' yourself before you go to sleep next time.
Tell yourself that you 'will' remember your dreams. It might not work the first time but eventually it will.
