Ok... well this is a thread for you to voice your appreciations
and to start I'll say... I totally appreciate the mods and the search thingo in the toolbar... and hopefully there isn't already a thread for this ... and you can totally kick my ass if there is

Just thought I'd bump this thread to say a general appreciation of every fantastic person I've met on my trip in this gorgeous Island (NZ, South Island, if anyone's interested)
I've made it the whole way round the island- from Nelson to Invercargill, via virtually everywhere I wanted to go, entirely by the goodwill of total strangers. I've hitchhiked the whole way, apart from a few local buses in Christchurch.. I've been invited to stay in people's houses, been fed, and people have listened to my random babble..
I really cannot ask for more
I'll be back..

I just took a nice, deep breath. It was effortless, refreshing, and free of pain, stiffness, or a sense of air-hunger.
I guess I realized just now how fortunate I am to be able to breathe on my own because I'm working in the NICU.
