Where did Blonde Jokes originate?

The blonde jokes came from the planet Brunettaka which is a very evil planet that is very close to the little happy planet of Blondonia. The Brunettakas all had plain brown hills and constantly fought with eachother while on the other hand, the Blondonians had beautiful shimmering hair and lived very peacefully. The Brunettakas were very jealous of the Blondonians and their beautiful hair so they began to make fun of them constantly. the Blondonians, being very sensitive, were hurt by these "Blonde Jokes" and finally became so upset they flew all of their people to a new empty planet which they named Earth. The Brunettakas soon were very bored and followed the Blondonians to Earth. they now torment the Blondonians with "blonde jokes" to this day. And that is where the blonde joke came from (and the whole world)

There you have it wink

Just a question, but does anyone know where the stigma to blondes started out?

I thought it started it out with the rise of feminism and the brutal discovery quite recently that women were human beings as well. The only way to keep making fun of them without the risk of being branded a mysoginist was then to report jokes on a smaller segment with a strong sexual connotation to symbolize the whole gender.

Marketing geniuses then found blondes also held a certain 'innocence' value in the mind of consumers, and decided to make of them the ambassadors of women in their adverts, effectively designing a bashing-doll to everyone else.

Just my 2 cents, I do not endorse any responsability for this meditate

Grrrrrrr

As a former natural blonde (dyed it brown for a change) I am offended by blonde jokes. If it was a black/irish/race joke everyone would go mad but why is it that blonde jokes are still widely accepted?

Again grrrrrr

Im all for using Hitites instead of any other stereotypes. I mean, God killed them all off a long time ago, I dont think any of them will notice if they are the brunt of jokes nowadays :P

It's only because the myth goes that we click once more than the brunettes... and the straw actually grew through our skull... shrug

I'm not offended by blonde jokes - who can't laugh about her/himself IMO has less laughter in life... shrug wink

Really, i think that the people that have accepted and come to terms with who and what they are are the ones that can laugh about themselves. Me, i'm fine about being half scots, half welsh, male, etc etc. So i don't really care about scots/welsh/bloke jokes.

But maybe thats just me...
