rant:
last night at the hobbit in southampton where we spin on thursday evenings.

Now I know people can be stupid but....a plethora of university students all wandering around....how can they NOT notice a guy spinning around with a 5ft metal pole....I mean come on people walking into me whilst carrying a pint is not conducive to dry hands and an un bashed head....I hit myself so many times avoiding idiots who seemed to think it ok to walk within 1ft of me whilst doing jesuses (for F**ks sake I'm looking straight up) and spinning on the spot....can you not SEE me. It was only my good nature that stopped me thinking F*** it, let it hit THEM they might learn then.

soapbox rant over...phew needed to do that I'm not malicious or angry and in a very good mood today so wanted that out so I could enjoy my day..... hug2

Well, at least you are in a good mood Mynci. I had a horrible weekend! My turn to rant!

My life is turning into a horrible mess right now! I'm trying to prevent depression setting apon me as much as possible, but I feel like giving in. I've lost my job due to the company closing, I have no love life whatsoever, and there are some people who are really starting to get on my last nerve! I think this weekend everything came crashing down on me, but I hid it so well that none of my friends noticed. When will this torment ever end! Why me? Why this? Why why why ...

Ok, my rant is over now, or should I say my whining is over now. Oh well, thats life ... I guess.

I have my mind set that it is not allowed to be serious...I have too much to do....I can't afford time off for a serious sickness.

Besides I have exciting stuff planned for later in the year so if it is going to be anything it is going to be an ulcer because I won't allow it to be anything worse.

I've also been really sick for the past week, but I'm hoping its due to stress.

Thank you ravehead hug Its cool that you know what I'm going through. Most people don't really understand my situation.

Maybe I need a holiday ...

it's been 10 years since i had a good holiday hug

i too am now unemployed, i've detatched myself from most of my old friends because they where dragging me down a path i'd been before, but as for hiding my emotions.....well, read my first post.

on the upside, since then i've met a girl i really like n that likes me, still unemployed but doing something i enjoy on a volentary basis which is promoting my mates club nights, i've found out my true friends through all of this muddle and confusion too.

things may look bleak right now and seemingly endless but things will pick up for you in time hug

Yeah, lots of people are sick from stress. And here I was thinking it was something I ate...

I too dont know where I'm going. My parents are pushing me to go to England (I live in South Africa). They believe I'd do well there. As amazing as it sounds, I dont really want to leave my home country. Despite the bad things happening here, it's the most beautiful place! And my family & friends are here, I just cant leave. I think that is making me stress even more! I cant afford anything. Petrol has gone up in price, the third time in three months! My poor VW Beetle is running on fumes!

I'm still trying to stay positive though. Last time I became negative my life took a turn for the worst, and I dont want to go back there again.

I'm just hoping things will get better real soon

Thank you ravehead for all the support hug and lots of hugs for Kyrian hug

this guy (who shall remain nameless) i used to train with him but now he is getting on my nerves because hes so competitive and like to be centre of attention and so he always keeps reminding me that he is soooo much better than me at everything so i got to the point of leaving the juggling group and starting training and doing jobs on my own, which was going great till this guy found out that people were talking about me and so he went to all the people that i do shows for and is trying to steal my work!

I had that problem, and I'm straight. I can only imagine its about twenty times worse for you. Given gay culture and all.

I may have found a solution tho (altho I'm as yet unsure).

I'm sure there's someone out there like you as well. Just takes a lot of looking... At least you live in a big city...

Hun, I was in a similar situation four years ago, I lived in a small town in natal (near newcastle) and it drove me mad. I didnt really want to leave all my friends and family behind and I very nearly didnt get on the plane. Tell you what though, I'm really glad I did. The first year in england was hell, but I stayed to prove apoint to myself. Now, I wouldnt go back to live in south africa for all the custard in the world. I'll go back and visit every few years, but the uk is home for me now. You should give it a shot, if you dont like it, you can always go back home. hug
