Just bought a set of Poi on Sunday. Only started to go thru some of the tutorials on this webpage today. Getting a little stuck on doing the basic butterfly redface Getting a little confused about how the Poi don't get tangled up? Any advice you can give?

i'd just say practice really, tho i'm not very good at poi, tho i find there are much more fun moves out there that are easier to learn than butterflies

I posted some small details on the Clapham thread...

Spitz is on every week. Now matter what the weather.

Though be warned....It's full of Londoners.

But they're all thoroughly wonderful londoners (even Ewan that comes and demands money from you for the privelage of hanging out in, what is essentially, a public place) so it's all ok smile

Good news. After 2 hours of sweat blood and tears (the poi kept hitting me on the head) I can now manage to the Weave biggrin biggrin

What next should I learn that would be a natural progression?
