Okay, I'm still a beginner and I can only make some moves..

How do I go from one move to another move in a flow? I have to stop and start over when I want to change....

Except when I go from Weave to BTB weave and Inverted BTB weave.... Butterflys and stuff are hard to change from....

Any tips?

you can wrap the poi around arms or legs, you can do various turns or stalls. The easiest way to find out how to transition moves is to experiment, this will involve hitting yourself but it helps you to find out exactly what works for you and how you feel comfortable spinning.

Aim high and you'll know your limits, aim low and you'll never know how high you could have climbed.

transitions!
it's half of twirling, yet does not get the attention it deserves.
so many twirlers believe that learning twirling moves is all there is to it, and end up looking as graceful as Kombi performing a U-turn!

it won't hurt to use practice time to focus on the possible transitions to change direction, change timing, change height, change plane, shift to/from waistwraps.....from any two movements.

only with a massive library of transitions will you instinctively, more importantly effortlessly between any movements.

this is like my biggest issue with how twirling is done in general.

One way to get out of a butterfly that I've found is to do a giant butterfly then pull your arms back to normal spinning. It works for me and it creates a cool patern... but then I might be wrong and just really bad...

Have faith in what you can do and respect for what you can't
