Another Lost Soul here! Didn't realise someone else had the same nickname as me so this could get confusing!

Anyway, this LostBoy would like to say a massive 'ello to one and all and I look forward to exchanging tips and tricks. I haven't been doing poi long, but long enough to understand the basic principals (except the "beats" system) and I'm quick to learn.

See you all on the boards thankx

hahaha! I'm not Scottish you know but who cares...

I'm bonny because it's sunny and nice and I had pizza for lunch and a muffin, too.

Weekend... mmmmhmmmm... there's spinning in the park but I'll watch because my hands are not working and I want them to be better in time for ÜBERPOI, and then there's a party, and probably some tidying before that, but let's forget about that for now smile

What are you spinning? I'm sure it's in your user info but I'm too lazy to check tongue

Oi Nuggit....

plans, hm, aukay, so far I would love to go to Berlin for a few days with a friend of mine, apart from that, perhaps a weekend Barcelona with a lovely friend of mine and then I try to go to Burning Man 2005 this year....but well see whats gonna happen...as the dao will flow - hopefully - ...

....still try to prepare my final exams at university, means: Iv got half a year for my written part: 100 pages about an art subject of my choice.....then a few more written and spoken tests....and thats it, so Im gonna prepare that and wanna travel as much as possible......

.....and Im hoping for a HOT summer...

hope you're fine....

Birgit: Well, you're the most Scottishly qualified person in this thread so that makes you the Ambassador (no abusing the title though tongue ). So where are you from? And why bonny Scotland?

It's sunny there? That's a kick in the family jewels - it's really overcast here but I was hoping for a "not so sunny" weekend so I can actually see what I'm doing ubblol

Hmmm Pizza - I had pizza for dinner last night but I managed to get all the way home before dropping my potato wedges outside my door frown Then my pot of special garlic sauce exploded all over my jeans! I managed to scoff the rest of my meal (garlic bread had already been annihilated before I'd left the pizza gaff. Bit of a (mis) adventure rolleyes

Ummm, I spin poi for the moment. I can do a few tricks, nothing close to as good as most of the spinners on HoP but I'm always learning. Once I've got a few more tricks under my belt I shall move on to flags and staff smile Are you coming dahn sahf for shiny spinney action over the holidays?

Tina: I'm going to Berlin on the 1st or 2nd of July if you're going to be around? I could do with a guide (and I can then leave my 'minders' behind and cause some mischief *cheeky laugh*.

Final exams? As in no more? Are you nervous? Have you chosen a subject? Does poi/fire/staff/juggling constitute an art form? Coz if it does, you could incorporate the whole society thing (like HoP and workshop mentality)....??

I would LOVE a hot summer, I don't get to fully enjoy it but it'll make the weekends a whole lot more fun wink

Do something random, come to Berlin and get lost and silly biggrin

There was a slight disaster regarding the super-sized crumpet but the quest is not over yet....i will continue till i create a giant crumpet. Until then here's a special star shaped crumpet!

let's stay in touch, cause I'm honestly thinking about coming to Berlin, wanna talk to my roommate first as she will go there as well - if we wont meet there I would love to come to london, as I used to live in london for about a year and havent been there for ages....

....and yes: poi/staff/...juggling does constitute an art form for me!!! art is relative, like everything else in the world.... wink

...still trying to find out where I can sleep in berlin, but talk to you soon.....

Not sunny today anymore frown I blame you!

What holidays are you talking about? I don't have holidays frown Might have to go to London though (for work, at some point and for about a week), so if I do I'll let the HoPpers know... have 2 people to visit there already biggrin

Star, can I please please please have a crumpet recipe? I want a star-shaped crumpet, too!

perhaps I just should come to Berlin for a couple of days, visit Vanize and you, and do the bad thing for a few hours...!?

tell you my decision veryyyyyyyyyyy soon!!!

Ewww lung-butter and all sorts lol

Sound like an interesting job. I thought about micro-biology when I was deciding on what to do at uni but decided that I could help more people with Psychology instead. (I have to start over though which I'm looking forward to doing soon).

Tina - are you going to be joining me in Berlin for the day on the first? Do you know any other HoPer's in Germany willing to get up to mischief all day?

Not long now (wohoo)

I could definitely help more people with microbiology than with psychology. I'd suck at it. I'd tell them to get off their arses and do things, even though most of them probably obviously can't... I get frustrated too easily to be a psychologist smile Plus the whole subconscious thing is rather freaky.

And on the flip side I could hurt far more people with microbiology than psychology. Did someone say Ebolo virus?
