Thought it was about time I did an intro, I have been lurking in the background for some time now but find it impossible to keep my opinions to myself, so it only seems fair to let you know a bit more info...
Name: The Tea Fairy
Occupation: Student (Social Anthropology); Fundraising, Events and Marketing Co-ordinator; bringer of hot frothy beverages; full time thinker of small but complex thoughts.
Age: 22
Location: Where London stops and the rest of the world starts (not far from the M25).
Likes: Poi (of course!), Tea, meeting people, travel, nature, yoga, funny jokes, good films, music and books, lazy sundays and nights out with good mates.
Dislikes: Working in offices, the boss, people who don't let me make them tea, any form of stress, bad karma, bad weather and conceited, narrow minded people.
I could go on with these forever but that'd probably be a bit dull, you'll just have to ask me anything else you may want to know. I'm generally a very laid back bunny. Who likes hugs, and getting lots of replies in her intro thread! *hint*

Wow, i spent a few months on several occasions at festivals out in the middle of national forest, and our camp was TeaTime. We were PIRATE Tea Faeries! Three cup minimum every time you walked by.
Twas great fun, i highly recommend it.
I hope your over the grunge (or the plague as we call it).....seems everyone in melbourne's got it too at the moment.

Bunny ears?! Who told you about the ears...
I try the 5 beat every time I practice poi. I just about get 5 beats on one side, but then I hit myself or get tangled up when I try and cross them over to the other side.
Also, lots of small children seeem to come and watch when I practice outside my house. Puts me off doing anything that involves hitting myself because they think i'm amazing... why kill the ego trip? I mean, there aren't many people who give you a round of applause for just doing the weave. Kids are great, but they get in the way of me trying new stuff.
