Hey guys,
I browsed the net, and being inspired by all the hippie threads on HoP, used the word "hippie" as a keyword for my search. So there are thousands of sites devoted to the hippie topic. And the hippies do exist now (met a very cute couple of them yesterday). Anyway... Whats the main hippie song, do you know any? I know several, but still....

Ok, ok, IM BORED biggrin and trying to entertain myself

But maybe somebody will remember something?

There was a musical came out in the 60's called Hair.
There are a couple songs in it that just about defined the era... the Age of Aquarius and I Got Life. But most people wouldn't know them ( I can just about recite them!)
But surely Woodstock by Joni Mitchell would have to be in the best known of all....

.....Can't juggle balls but I sure as hell can juggle details....

The existance of flamethrowers says that someone, somewhere, at sometime said "I need to set that thing on fire, but it's too far away."

Hair is an awesome musical...one of my favorite from that era. The video clips of Let the Sunshine in at the end of the film bring tears to my eyes. Why can't we organize like that anymore?

There is no strong performance without a little fanaticism in the performer.

I have never seen a punk with flowers in their hair. A mohawk maybe but definitely no flowers in it.

This is more like it if you mean 'hippYs'...

And this is what you are after for hippIEs...

(all the ones in Europe seem to listen to Psy Trance anyway)

I've always thought of this song as hippie-esque.
Regardless, it still remains one of my favorite chill songs.

"There's an inverse relationship between how good something is for you, and how much fun it is."
"Idiocy is the essence of the male mind."
"Interesting. No, wait, the other thing...Tedious."
