Posted:So I wonder why it is socially unacceptable to do so??

Can you imagine how much better we would feel if we would be allowed to just release....

I usually do it at home, if other people are around (or I don't want to make the neighbours think I'm being robbed or something) I scream into a pillow. Don't do it in a very crowded room though, people wouldn't know it's out of frustration, so you might cause a mass panic and get trampled to death! wink

thats when you pull the cap gun out of your pocket and shout "everyone hit the deck" and then you get to the front of the que... tongue

(the trick is to not let the know its a cap gun)

but it does sometime help to let out a scream, but you do get some dodgy looks...

We are the music makers, We are the dreamers of dreams,
Wandering by lone sea-breakers, And sitting by desolate streams;
World-losers and world-forsakers, On whom the pale moon gleams;
We are the movers and shakers of the world for ever, it seems.

Posted:At Stanford, during "Dead Week," the week leading up to finals, we had a tradition called "Primal Scream."

Basically, at midnight every night of the week, everyone opens their windows up or goes outside and screams at the top of their lungs. The campus sounds really eerie for about a minute after the clock-tower strikes midnight.

Posted:Im a firm beleiver in getting stuff off your chest. Screaming is good, hurts you throat though. when i get frustrated, depressed or something along those lines, i grab my staff, go out to the front lawn, close my eyes and just spin as fast as i can. it realy helps me clear my mind, everything around me just dissapears. (starting to work a bit better now that im not hitting myself tongue )
