Posted:Hi Kids!

Firstly, I hope Pele is well on the road to recovery - Get well soon bucko!

Secondly, after adventuring our way across Europe, we are returning to the UK and will be in London from 1am on sept 11th...

We would love to hook up with spun out people, for a burn, a twirl or maybe a bit of a boogie? We know of a forest Party in Gatwick on the 14th... being put on by some nice people we met at Samothraki Dance Festival (Brighton crew) and will hopefully be heading to that for the weekend...after which we will be making our way back to Manchester, and our lovely firey family thereabouts...

We would of course Love to share somebodies home (and foorspace for sleeping) if possible...we dont bite - I can get references!

Love to all,

Josh

Posted:yes josh your timing is un-peccable.
arses.
Most of londons oldskool poi, staff and contact crowd are skipping off out of the capital on 14th/15th.

oh and londons funkiest poi workshop at kensal rise just shut down

but that still leaves 3 days to play

Maybe you should try to check out brixton workshop on wednesday night, I can do you details, I did post them on a thread in events long time ago.

have you found steve (staff and clubswinger) and lynn and hairy in manchester yet?

I know I said phone me about a floor, but I'm not actually in london at the moment, I'm a bit of a drive away, so I cant offer you floor space this time. good luck finding some.

I'd recommed doms your man for knowing whats going on. but I'll come into london to say hello, and maybe have a play, when your down.

see you soon

Posted:hmm....we would really prefer it if we could pick a time when most of the twirly people are going to be in London for spinny stuff...

Are the poi ppl going to the party in Gatwick on the 13th / 14th? Or some other place? Can we come?

Perhaps we should wait until the next POi in the Park?

Small boy, we will be coming to London at some stage soon, and I look forward to taking you up on your suggestions...its still just a matter of when!

ok must go!

Bye for now!

Posted:Hey hey!

We have decided to go back to Manchester, we should be there at about lunch time on Sept 10th (Hi Heather!)

For people not in the Manchu, we will still be up for spending the odd weekend / week in different places doing intensive spinjams

Nix, we are UK based now, and will most likely be living in MAnchester (depending on the state of employment) for at least the whole Winter, before cruising off again for the party season next year.

Travelling and meeting twirling / PsyTrance people is a major priority for us, and so a meet up with people up north (Scotland, Sheffield, and more) is a must.

We dont have a car, so organised events are preferable for us.

DromePixie, we will be coming to London to meet everyone, dont you worry - we just want to pick a more 'peccable' timing

Seeya all sooner!

Josh

Posted:As smallboy says, it will be ok to stay round mine I have spare mattresses, duvet etc... and loads of room. Also I will be going to most poi events in the city myself so you should have my mobile number give me a call if you would both like to stay at mine.

Looking forward to meeting you guys.

Posted:Dom and PK and I have been talking about another big Poi in the Park London to be at the end of september or begining of october.

I guess one of us will post in the next couple of days to say what the plan is.

wagga wagga is such a cool name for a place, my favorite t-shirt when i was 5 was from wagga wagga, it said wagga wagga on it. and when I grew out of it, my mum sewed up the holes and made it into a cushion. la la laaaaa

See you all soon

Posted:Hi Josh. We have small boxroom with a single bed that you guys are welcome to crash in.

Did not hear anything about Gatwick party but as my boyf Kota works at weekends and I work during the week we have not been late night partying for a long time

Sorry to peeps in park for such a fleeting visit but after a visit to Cafe Cairo before the common I was pretty wrecked. Hope you made good use of the last of the paraffin!

Posted:Ok it's official, everyone I know that does poi/staff etc... is here that weekend.

Who's away Drew?

Old skool peeps don't tend to socialise with us unworthy "newbie" types anyway.....
so by "most old skool" I don't think he meant "most"???? - but I could be wrong.....

Realise that you guys have probably made other plans by now but hey.
Hope to meet you soon
And don't listen to random people that talk you out of mad house parties just coz they talk out of their GL-ARSE - lol

(*wanders off muttering about people not coming to his party, and trying not to take offence at Drew's insinuations about the ones left not being worth meeting etc etc...*)

My mate Pauline worked in a boarding school in Wagga Wagga for a year. And I kissed a sleazy guy called Al who came from Wagga Wagga.
