I have to say that I could be the worst juggler in the world. Ive been learning how to juggle rings and on my first attempt i cut my arm.....then I was doing fine but last night at circus school I managed to whack myself in the face and I now have a bruised cheeck bone...

i was in juggle art in melboune, and was filming myslef club juggling for the first time, and i threw a bad throw, and smacked myslef in the really hard right infor of leonie, and couldnt see for about 20 mins (that was worrying!)

not i only hurt my hands and finger when i catch badly!
you will get so much better, yuo wont belive it soon how you where hitting yourslef!

i was trying to release one from three in one hand and rather than throwing a double, only actually managed to flip the club directly towards my nose
rings are the worst prop for juggling injuries - you'll get cut hands, bruised knuckles and actual skin off your nose (from dodgy pulldowns).
and i guarantee you tainted that you are not the worst juggler in the world (if you're going to a circus school and you've been juggling for three years, i bet you're pretty good really
).

i took a nice beating last summer doubles with 3 clubs 55500 the 3rd 5 right in my eye!... ouch.
i do like rings though... but not out doors in the wind!

I feel your pain with the rings, I hated it so much the first time that I tried them, I gave up and started working with pins. Plus, we all know that pins > rings.

they all cause pain in differing amounts though... it's just something you have to get used to for each time you learn a new trick
maybe that's a bit unhelpful... enjoy your juggling, it's great fun once you get the knack of it - highly addictive too
