Finally back in Florida, and it feels great even if my place has extensive roof trauma from two direct hurricane hits and mould trying to creep into the sinuses. And already, I've noticed that the majority of fire dancers that I have dug up information on are all on the west coast - Tampa, Naples, and between; occasionally Miami. Hell, if I'd known everyone was on the west coast before coming over to Juno, I would have hung around a while longer and tried to find the ravens.

I refuse to believe that there is not one fire artist on the west coast between Deer Field and Daytona, however. Where are you people, and why are we not burning on the beaches at night yet? I spent a few hours looking for fire artists and came up with only a handful who were going their own solo or professional, multi-show group gigs and seemed uninterested in 'casual burn' as it were with the lowly amateurs who are disjointed from their northwest coast troupe. Besides, I feel a little too avoidant and, eh... shy, I suppose, to really approach an established group to ask if they are looking for others and audition. I don't think I'm good enough to perform professionally, anyway.

I really want to get toether with other fire artists down here, though. I've grown broed of doing it alone and without music - for the longest time, I was doing two- and three-person moves with my troupe, music of some kind always backing us up, or technical and creative discussion pending that. This silence and isolation is driving me nuts.

I am in North Palm Beach/Juno Beach. I am going to start walking to the stretch of Juno beach between Jupiter and North Palm again. I swear I'm not that crazy, just bored, lonely, and fireless!

There really is no explanation for this painful phenomenon. I passed out cold. Then I died. - Ach Mein Gott, issue 1.
