I have actually given up on having an avator... tried for a while ubbcrying.
If anyone knows how to get a big picture off the net and turn it into one of those little avator thingies and can post step by step istructions for people who have no idea bout these strange computer things, i am sure i am not the only one who would love you for ever! hug
It mabye should be included in the information when you sign up?

looper - open the image in MSpaint (if you don't have photoshop), then goto IMAGE>stretch/skew and make it smaller (change percentage size for both height and width if you don't want it distorted). To see if it is small enough, go to IMAGE>attributes. resize again till it is the correct size for an avatar (must be smaller than 80x80 pixels). save as somthing other than the name of the original since you'll want to keep the larger image.

if you still need help, PM me.

Ok Help!

I want to change my avator to this image in my gallery. Although I managed to do it with my current avator, I can't seem to do it for the new one. My problem is I can't get the file size small enough without ending up with an avator 3mm in size.

I've tried using both photoshop and paint and neither have worked. Is there any tricks to this, am I missing something?

Either that or are there any very kind people out there?

Thanks!
