Summer Location: Queen Victoria gardens.
The aim is not for a solely firetwirling night, but a night whereby firetwirlers, jugglers, contact jugglers, diabolo etc can meet. So feel free to bring friends who may be interested.
Night starts at 6pm for all those who are keen to learn. Fire starts after dark 7.00 - 8ish till late!
So.... the location is Queen Victoria Gardens
St. Kilda Road – opposite 'National Gallery of VIC' (Old Arts Gallery with spire)
The grassed area near the three raised palm trees. (Look out for the bronze statue hammer thrower)
With only a 5 minute walk over the princess bridge from Flinders Street station.

Ahhh, Jo's a girl. Therefore no 'e' on the end. Both Dave and Jo were there on Sunday. Where were you then?
I'm getting there at 6pm this weekend. Dobz is coming then, Alex would have, but he's got band camp. (No Jokes necessary)
From now the planned meeting time is 6pm and i'm sure people will turn up later than that. It might even get earlier as the days get shorter. Middle of winter I think the sunset seems like 5:30.
Got the meteor. It's too long. I can get it under my leg or do any btb transitions without hitting the ground. The length of my normal one is ideal so, i'm going to cut some links off the chain section tonight and give it a whirl. The design looks solid though. The middle almost seems a waist of Kevlar.

Dont think im gonna make it this sunday have a medieval festival on on sat night and wont be back till late sunday afternoon. By the way just wondering who goes on wed night?? and next time i come i will have some flags and will be sure to bring my three sectional

geez ataxia, you make band camps look bad, it is only the third one I've been on in... ummm... a month.
Can't wait for sunday week, so I can see your nice fire meteor and hopefully by then I will hopefully have kevlar to finish making my doubles and devil stick.

Hi guys
Would anybody out there be interested in having a box for contact juggling balls or other kit?.
It is handmade of wood, with suitcase-type handle and snap locks (no keys). It was made to house a microprocessor, now very old technology, and has a metal plate screwed over one side with holes through the wood, for serial and parallel ports. A plain piece of thin metal or plastic could be screwed in its place and it would be quite a stout carry-case. If I can get down on Sunday, I'll bring one (I have two). The size is 34.5cm x 26cm x 12cm. "Free to good home!"
