Age: 24, but it's my silver jubilee soon
Location: Lovely Edinburgh, oh it says that over there... But born and bred a Londoner.
Occupation: PhD student (entymology and bacteriology - ie. mash flies and see what's going on in their bellies. mmmm.) Oh, and part-time Queen.
Toys: BLUEBELL the most gorgeous blue blue tech
Tulip my beautiful contact stick, poi and a sadly neglected devilstick. I think it had angel sticks with it somewhere (firey handsticks as well as a firey devilstick) but haven't played with them for so long.... and of course, young molly mole, who aspires to great juggling prowess, but is hampered by the shortness of her paws and the complete absence of the ability to hold anything with just one paw. She is the little furry blur that is my avatar, in her christmas incarnation as the mole of war.
Hobbies: Beltane Fire Society, the slack hippy calendar of my life. Dancing, most especially swing. contact girl is the way forward, if only I could get round the friction burns. Gardening, herbs and vegetables mostly. There's only so much you can do with a daffodil. Sewing stuff, costumery especially. Camping, brewing, jam and CAKE
Favourite colour (before anyone asks... you know who you are):
blue but yes pink is fine and dandy, it even tried to take over my world for a week in August when my little niece was born
um, that'll do I think...
oh one more thing,
I had the immense pleasure of meeting quite a few HoP-folk round and about this summer and if they are anything to go by, you are all beautiful lovely people
what a fabby place
now, tea and cake all round and cushions aplenty

I'm going to Cardiff tomorrow to shop. Its pay day today! Yippeeeeeeee! I need a watch that doesn't keep stopping, some flip flops (mine have a split in them
), some stronger wire to make wings with, some poles to make shorter staffs with and some tube to make a hula hoop.
My loola hoop bruise is almost gone and I need to black it up again

oh and I forgot to mention..... I hate hooping! I can't find any tube to make a hoop. They are all too bendy or thin or unbendy............ the man in B & Q thought I'd lost my marbles what with me looking for metal tube for making staffs and tube to make hula hoops. I picked him to ask because he was cute looking and had dreads. By the end of our chat he was backing away from me looking like he might break into a run anytime I made a suddern move!
grrrrrrrrrr ....... evil hobbies that make cute dreaded men afraid of me.... I'm gonna take up something like rock climbing or mountain biking.
Just think he might have been a really good carpenter that had fallen on hard times and was having to work in B&Q to make ends meet and I might have been able to talk him into helping me to renovate my house and get me goods on staff discount to do it.... but oh no I have to scare the pants off him by having a hobby that involves fire and big sticks hoops and flaming balls!

NYC is very lovely in Scotland thank you, well... he's lovely when he's in New York, but he's more huggable when we're both in the same place

Perhaps if you got several of those improbably long marshmallow things that look all dodgy when your brother (yay my brother is talking to me again) tucks them into his belt and runs around service stations...

or I could look into the plastics suppliers links that doop gave me ages ago and see fi they have the right sort of thing.
There are no plans for venturing to Falmouth sadly

1) I washed more dishes than I thought possible but the flat is still a bit messy.
2) I wanted to get to Pooksville because I was starting to get stressed about submitting my Module for the week for my class.
3) Tomorrow will be my 'housewife' day where I'll stay home and tidy and do laundry landry laundry. Maybe I'll put a load up tonight. So don't stress about the moving mess today.
4) What do you want me to make you for dinner tomorrow?
5) I'm off to roll dice at 6 but should be home around 9 to swoop by, pick you, paul and the rest of the toys up and go to the meadows.
6) I don't think I'll be able to get a boom box today, but hopefully by next Monday.
So, you should count on being on your own for dinner and I'll be reachable via Mobile after 6.

NYC, you are an angel . I'm going to be washing my hands of my old flat this evening (and waching it free of me I suppose, well hoovering anyway). Do I still need to reassemble Paul? and if so where have you hidden your spann... no wait, I can get this right... adjustable wrench? (ha!)
